- Congratulations To Ian Enriquez - the first staff member to win Health Idol! Special congratulations to Steven Flynn, who fought a tough battle and made second place despite incredibly difficult odds.
- Class of '09 Homeroom Meeting - on Thursday in the auditorium. Student Government election speeches will be delivered.
- Student Government Elections Will Take Place - on Friday during homeroom for juniors. Sophomores will vote next week and the following week for freshmen.
- Prom Attendees - If you need a corsage/boutonniere/garter for Prom, a S & V representative will be here next week from Monday - Wednesday during lunchtime in front of the main office to take orders.
- 10th Grade English Honors for 2008-2009 - You must confirm your placement and pick up summer reading from Mr. Crotwell in B-14 this week to hold your position in class.
- The Drama Department Would Like To Show - you some Southern hospitality. Come see the spring play, The Foreigner by Larry Shue. Performances fun Thursday, May 15th at 3:30 p.m. and Friday, May 16th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults and can be bought at the Little Theater door. Come see this hilarious comedy - the last drama show of the year.
- Do You Like The Environment? Do You Like To Garden? Jobs For Youth Are Looking - for a summer gardening program team leader. Yu must be at least 18 years old, experience working in a leadership capacity, and the ability to demonstrate gardening procedure and the correct usage of tools. This job is from June 23rd to August 8th and pays $15 per hour. Come to the Wellness Center for a flyer in the information binder.
- The Bay Chiropractic Center Is Looking For - a responsible detail oriented individual to assist them with office work such a filing, chart formation and data entry. - Oasis For Girls Is Looking For Women - for their summer programs: Young Women's Leadership Institute, RISE Life Skills/Education Program and the Summer Performance & Activism Project. Make friends, earn $400! This is for women ages 14-20. Applications are in the College/Career Center and at www.sfoasis.org. Deadline is May 22nd.
- The Saybrook Community Series - on Psychology and Culture presents Growing Up Teen: Dialogues on Urban-American Teenage Life and Culture (series), to provide educators, counselors, and parents a fresh look at teen development within an urban-American stance. The first dialogue will be "Building Family, Educators and the Community" on Wed., May 21 from 7-9 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church and Center in The Martin Luther King Room (1187 Franklin St. @ Geary).
