  • The Library Is Closed As Of TODAY - to allow for TEXTBOOK RETURNS and CLEARANCE. ALL library and textbooks are due (unless you need them for your final study or research). Students may only use the library computers with permission by the librarians.
  • Congratulations To The Newly Elected Officers For The Class of 2010 - President, Robert Lim; Vice President, Nathan Chein; Secretary, Cecilia Ren; Treasurer, Larry Pho.
  • San Francisco Unified School District School Times - is available in the news stand outside the main office for any student wishing a copy.
  • AP Chemistry - All students taking or thinking of taking AP Chemistry: Please come to room 304 at lunch on Monday, June 2nd for a brief meeting.
  • General Manager Applications Are Now Being Accepted - for the Class of 2010. Applications are located outside the Mustang Cage and will be accepted until Thursday, June 5th, by Mr. Aluk.
  • Yearbook Distribution - Yearbooks will be distributed in the cafeteria on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd for seniors and on June 4th and 5th for underclassmen, during 7° and after school ONLY. Enter through the courtyard side of the cafeteria. Bring your ID and your receipt. Students without receipts will be charged a $1 fee.
  • Interested In Being A General Manager For The Class of 2009? - Pick up an application at the cage, room 206, or room 225. Applications are due to Ms. Eng (room 206) or Ms. Ziegler (room 225) by Tuesday, June 2nd, no later than homeroom. NO EXCEPTIONS! Interviews will be held on Wednesday & Thursday of the same week.
  • AP Government Class of 2009 - We will have a meeting this Friday, May 30th, at lunch in room 225 in pick up your summer assignment. This meeting is mandatory and will take about 15 minutes. Please be on time so we can get started and get out early.
  • Relief & Hope: Thank You To All - students & faculty. The total amount collected by the Chinese Club Earthquake Fund Raising was $5,130. The donation was delivered to the SingTao Daily News. Your generous support clearly demonstrates our great Mustang spirit! Out timely humanitarian move illuminates the life of those in agony, and gives them hope to stand up against disasters. Working together, we will make the world wonderful! Due to the magnitude and scale of the earthquake in China, there are still millions of people being affected. Your continual donation is much needed and appreciated. Please donate directly to relief organizations (e.g., American Red Cross: https://american.redcross.org/site/Donation2?df_id=3198&3198.donation=form1). The Chinese Club wishes to extend special thanks to Principal Pang, Grace, Fung, Bill Chen, Austin Luo, Melissa Luk, Jimmy Han, Wei Ji Hu, Joanna Fung, and many other volunteers.

  • PACT Seniors - If you have not yet turned in your PACT survey to Ms. Zales, please do so as soon as possible. This SHORT survey is available from Ms. Zales in the College/Career Center. It is important for you to give your feedback and also to be considered for a PACT scholarship while you are in college. Please complete this form before school is out so we may stay in touch.   • Scholarship From The Chinese Acacia Club - Applications are due June 30. Eligibility: GPA of 3.8 or higher (verify by senior transcript or most recent report card), recommendation letter from counselor or teacher required. Applications are available in the College/Career Center.

  • Looking To Volunteer In A Friendly & Fun Office Environment This Summer? - PACT is looking for student volunteers to assist advisors (like Ms. Zales) over the summer with special activities, organization and planning (etc.) tasks, at PACT, Inc. headquarters on Divisadero St. (@ Hayes & Grove). Get a behind-the-scenes perspective of an educational non-profit organization, build skills, make friends, have fun! Flexible schedule. See Ms. Zales in Room 123C to sign up. All student are welcome.
